The Canon EOS R7 is the best option for upgrading into the mirrorless camera world without breaking the bank. It gives you all of the professional features of the EOS R line of cameras for thousands of dollars less. This camera also allows for the use of the Canon EF line of lenses when coupled with the Canon Lens Adapter listed below. This will allow you to use your current canon lenses natively with the R7 and also allow for the use of all of the professional line of EF lenses to get professional photos without spending thousands more than necessary on the equivalent RF mount Canon lenses.
Canon lens Adapter

This adapter is REQUIRED to allow you to use the Canon EF line of lenses with your RF mount mirrorless Canon camera body. It is recommended that you always use the Canon brand of adapters as they perform astonishingly well and there is no difference when using EF or RF lenses in terms of autofocus speed and accuracy.

This lens comes in at around $200 and has comparable image quality to similar lenses that cost over $2000. This fixed aperture gives you some decent depth of field but also allows for you to have the versatility of being able to still zoom in and out.
