WP2.1-Bride Preparation

Preparation

 

Ideal Time Allotment – 30 minutes


Ideal Time of the Day – Morning or Early Afternoon


Ideal Location – Bridal Suite or Hotel Suite


Photographer Advice

      This will just be a time when we capture details, and candid moments as they happen. There is no need to feel any pressure here. Overshoot and use the images below as examples. If you would like you can click on any of the photos below, show it to the bride, and ask her if she would like a similar photo. Just keep the atmosphere light and fun, its just a time when they do what they will naturally do and you will capture the moments as they happen. 

 


Camera Settings

A-Mode

APERTURE PRIORITY MODE AT ALL TIMES

ISO: (Maximum: 3200) - (Ideal: 1600 or below) - (Best: 800 or below)

Aperture: As low as possible - Best: f/2.8

Shutter Speed: 1/100 or higher

 

START WITH THE CAMERA IN APERTURE PRIORITY ON THE TURN DIAL ON THE TOP LEFT. MAKE SURE THE CAMERA IS SHOOTING IN RAW FILE FORMAT. ADJUST THE APERTURE TO F2.8 (OR AS LOW AS IT WILL GO). ADJUST THE ISO TO 1600 AND TAKE SOME SHOTS. IF THEY ARE BLURRY THEN RAISE THE ISO, BUT DO NOT EXCEED 3200 ISO. 

 

GET THE MOMENTS AS THEY HAPPEN AND MAKE SURE TO FILL THE FRAME. TRY TO NOT LEAVE ANY DEAD SPACE ON THE TOP OF THE PHOTO.
