West Coast Rider
Last summer, I was out in California shooting the Jr. Olympics of inline hockey, followed by the inline World Championships. Then I capped those two weeks off with the Vans Triple Crown in Huntington Beach. The surfing wasn't a paid gig it was just something I wanted to shoot while I was out there, and I loved it. It was my first time shooting surfing, and hopefully it wont be my last. It was such an awesome sport to shoot and I came away with some of my favorite images I have taken to date.
This black and white was among my favorites. I just love the contrast and detail in the water as this surfer rides this wave preparing for his next move up ahead. Anyways, I really like this image and I hope you enjoy it too :)
