Pic of the Day

Town in the Top of the Troposphere

In the middle of the mountains in south west Colorado, there is a town. This town is one of the few that has stuck to its roots out west. With buildings hundreds of years old and dirt roads. You get the sense of stepping back in time when you get off the train coming up from Durango. This town, over 9000 feet in the sky, nestled in snow capped mountains, is the beautiful town of Silverton Colorado.

More photos to come :)

Monument Highway

Coming into the iconic Monument Valley for the first time can catch you off guard. There is only one first impression. Luckily I was ready to capture it as soon as it came into view :)

Todays Pic of the Day is the iconic highway leading into Monument Valley

Hope you Enjoy :)

The Grandeur of Zion

Words need not be spoken. This place was beyond incredible. I cannot even describe.

From the Eye of a Bird: Natarajasana

Some things you can really only see from a birds eye view. Like todays Pic of the Day for example. Being hundreds of feet above the ground offers a neat perspective on life. You know those times when you look up to the heavens and wonder if anyone out there is looking down on you? Well in this case, I was the one looking down, and got one of the most interesting shots I have ever gotten. What do you think :)

Sandia Peak

One of the first stops on my recent trip out west was Albuquerque NM. While this is probably most famous now for being the home of Breaking Bad, it is also home to something even more awesome, and actually real, The Sandia Peak Arial tram. This thing looks, feels, and seems dangerous, but boy was it amazing. The views from the ride up hundreds of feet above the mountains were stunning, and only got better once you get to the top.

While it was very windy and cold up top, that didn't keep me from running around getting pics. Today's pic of the day comes from the moment I stepped off the tram. I waited for it to depart back down and snapped a sunset shot.

Hope you enjoy :)
